Mission accomplished: first switchboard installed in Electrical Building

MEH Alliance achieved a major electrical milestone at Hinkley Point C by installing the first high-voltage switchboard in the first Electrical Building. This marks the transition of our electrical work from installing cable ladders to our first permanent electrical equipment.

The 10KV switchboard consists of 13 panels, and it is now in position. Our team of high-voltage specialists will now undertake the task of connecting 176 interconnectors, which will contribute to the power distribution to the grid.

This accomplishment is the result of a collaborative effort from team Hinkley Point C, and we would like to thank all stakeholders for your commitment and contributions.
